Donald Trump is trying to gerrymander states across the country, from Texas and Missouri to Nebraska and Indiana, all to help Republicans in D.C. cling to power next year.

But while Trump works to rig the rules in his favor, Illinois is one of the few states where elected officials can fight back.

Illinois has the opportunity to lead by drawing congressional maps that will help counteract Republican efforts to rig congressional maps and avoid accountability for their unpopular policies in the midterms.
